VWM : Known Issues When the screensaver exits, window Z-order is off by one. Annoying, but not critical. The program 'htop' aborts when it cannot grab the console mouse. This only happens when the program is run on a true tty (not xterm) without root privileges. The program 'ls' does not honor color by default if it does not recognize the terminfo entry. The terminfo entry for ptyterm is vwmterm. The background redraw and clear-to-end-of-line routines do not get handled correctly by the escape code parser of ptyterm. Usually, this does not matter much. Some line-art programs like Midnight Commander and Links try to second-guess the terminal because they do not recognize the terminal type VWMTERM. This results in either no color, distorted line-art, or both. In the case of Links, it is possible to remedy the color problem by forcing color mode in the Links Setup->Terminal options menu.
